Our nearest airports at the moment are Toulouse and Limoges which are about one hour 30 min. From Payrac. Bergerac is about 2 hours.

In this area of the Lot there are many touristic attractions.

· Payrac (our local village) - where lovely walks with the owners cocker spaniel Henry to join you, can be had. Two good restaurants.

· Gourdon - with it's medieval old town with shops and market.

· Rocamadour - a medieval town built in the cliffs above the Alzou canyon. Must be visited.

· Sarlat - this historic market town with an abundance of restaurants,cafes and bars. Street entertainment during the summer evenings.

· Beynac - with it's castle and a stretch of the Dordogne is very attractive.

· Brive - a town to visit for shopping.

· Padirac, Lacave, Rouffignac and Montignac - all with attractive caves to visit.

· Cahors, St Circ-Lapopie - Cahors for it's shops and saturday market together with boat trips on the river Lot. St Circ-Lapopie is a must for all tourists a truly magnificent medieval village on the river Lot.

Many more, so in all, a wealth of sightseeing all within a radius of 50 km's around Payrac.
